May 23 Update

Carrick had a new breathing tube put in; one that was wider to fit his throat better. The other tube was causing a leak that affected his breathing. They also put a new PICC line in his leg this afternoon. His weight fell a little down to 1 lb 12 oz. He was even wearing a shirt today! It was open and had no sleeves to accommodate his wires and tubes. They took the feeding tube out a couple days ago also, because he won't be eating soon. His surgery is most likely going to be on Tuesday. He's stable right now, and better with that new breathing tube. After the surgery he's expected to begin progressing again. Keep up the praying!
