June 28 Update

Carrick must be sneaking spicy food late at night because they put him on Zantac. Just kidding about the spicy food part, but when they upped his feedings to 9cc/hour it was too much for his little stomach to handle. Even little preemies can get reflux! They bumped him back down to 8.5cc/hour, and his feeding has been held for 4 hours tonight because he had quite a bit of residual. But his lungs are doing so great they dropped him to a pressure of 3! His oxygen level is still below 30%, also! On a more interesting note, when Jenni and I walked in tonight his nurse told us not to look on the floor because she had thrown his unbelievably full diaper there. It held about what 4 diapers can hold. Ah, the memories. More to come.
