Sept. 19 Update

Carrick is supposed to be napping right now, but he is squirming and making little baby noises instead, just like a normal baby. The only medical stuff that's been going on is that we had to up his Prevacid from 1.3ml to 1.6ml to compensate for his weight gain. Prevacid is his reflux medicine. His reflux is still always present, but he doesn't spit up near as much as he used to. He is still on oxygen on a flow of 1/32 of a liter at 100% oxygen. We're going back to the eye doctor this afternoon with our entourage of equipment. He isn't stating high enough to drop him down to 1/64 of a liter flow yet, but maybe in the next month. He's gaining weight well, and outgrowing his newborn clothes! Some of them anyway. In the next couple weeks he'll probably be too chubby for all of them! He has done something remarkable recently, also. He rolled over, from his stomach onto his back! I haven't been able to get him to do it again; I was at work when he did it, but Jenni called me to share the great news. More good things to come.

I knew it wouldn't be long before he rolled over! What a smart and strong little boy you have! Can't wait to see him in October!
