May 12 Update

Carrick is back on the old ventilator and on low oxygen settings! He's still on dopamine. He'll begin feedings again when he's been off dopamine for a couple days. His kidneys are still working great; Jenni and I are both witnesses of that first hand. Jenni was changing his diaper this morning and just when she had the old one off, a fountain of pee-pee shot out and drenched his bed and snuggly--the stuff that surrounds him to act as the womb. We were so proud! So then the nurses changed his bed linens out, and Jenni helped hold Carrick up while they changed out his bed. Everything else is pretty much the same. Jenni and I held him a lot today, well, put our hands over him to calm him down. It worked! His mom and dad put him to sleep because he was getting feisty again. He also yawned a nice manly yawn today. Thank you for your continued support and prayers.

We will be praying for continued growth and strength for Carrick!

Can't wait to see him again.

There's nothing like the pride a parent feels when their child pees on them with a fountain of youth!
May it happen many times more!!

Meant that in a good way :)

Hope you got our letter. We love you all.
