May 27 Update 1

Carrick's surgery is today! Jenni and I are headed to the hospital around 7:30am to travel with him, probably fill out more paper work, talk to the surgeon, and encourage our son. It's a big day. I get to ride in the ambulance with Carrick! It takes longer to switch him into the portable isolettte than the actual trip to the hospital. He needs this surgery, and will begin to progress again after recovering from it. Please continue to pray for him, especially this afternoon--that's when the procedure will take place.
