June 23 Update
Here is a list of normal baby things Carrick can do: he can spit up, he can poop, he can cry, he can wiggle, he can wear clothes (micro preemie clothes), he can yawn, he can sneeze and cough, he can pass gas, and he can move his head! He even looks like a baby now. He looked like an old man when he was born. He still has quite a bit of chub to put on, but he's on his way. Carrick moved down to CPAP pressure 5 tonight, and he is at 30% oxygen and doing great. This is new territory for us. Exciting! He also gained 2 more ounces. And to top it all off, in a couple hours Carrick will be 2 months old; are you kidding me! Jenni and I were talking about how thankful we are for Carrick tonight while she was holding him. We had a sneaky nurse tonight. I held him for almost an hour and a half this morning, also. Thanks for praying for him and us! More to come.

Just so you know...both of my children looked like old men when they were born full term. So, I suppose you can add that to the list of "normal" baby things he can do. LOL!... I am so glad Carrick is growing and progressing. Before you know it you'll be watching him make muscles in the mirror and roar like a lion!(that's what my [almost] 2 yr old boy did today) Thanks for sharing your journey with us!It's a delight to see our Father at work.
Praise the Lord for ALL of you, nursses included! It is so gratifying to see the way you and Jenni interpret all of Carrick's "events" for us.
A friend's youngest wanted a burr haircut and a Superman cape for his sixth birthday. He got 'em, then went streaking of to a buddy's house, cape just a-flying. She says, "Lord(ie), what have I given birth to?"
We may not know all or most or even some of the answers to the big quesstions that cme our way, but we do know for sure that God knows and He loves us and He would never harm us.
