July 12 Update

Carrick is doing well. His nasal cannula pressure was put back up to 2 though; one and half was just too much for him to handle. They'll try to drop it again in a few days. He had another apnea while we were visiting today. He's managing his feeding increase well. His residual levels are within the limit given to him. Eleven cc/hour seem to fit him. But he still isn't pooping. Only with the help of a sepository will he poop. He had another eye exam this afternoon. His ROP is still at level 2, which is the same. That is good. Here's something new: Carrick has cradle cap. All that means is he has baby dandruff. The nurse baby oiled his head today and then gave him a good shampoo and tried to comb out the dry skin. Not a big deal. Jenni combed his hair into a pretty fohawk, too. That's about it. More to come.
