May 10 Update 1

Carrick is stable and a little more comfortable today. His blood pressure is still up and down, which means he's still on dopamine. His heart echo was taken today; the PDA has opened up a little, but they're not worried about it. It might close back on its own. He'll stay on the new ocililating ventilator for today since he's stable and slowly coming down on his settings. His kidneys are improving. He looks less misshapen and bloated today, also. They haven't begun feedings again yet. They're doing more labs, taking blood for tests, today to make sure his blood gases remain good. He's doing a little better. The PIE is the same though, no improvement and no worse. He met his Aunt Becca for the first time today and opened his eyes for her. Carrick is also getting his mom a great 1st mother's day present! Thank Aunt Becca for letting me use her laptop to post this entry. You might want to pray for Granddaddy, Mr. Turner, since he bought his first digital camera today--technology can be difficult. More to come.

Haha, I'm so glad you added Dad to the prayer request list for his technology savvyness! We're glad to hear Carrick is doing better today!

Happy 1st Mother's Day Jenni! Carrick, you are a tiny little warrior and we are so proud of you. Work it real good for your Grandpa's new digital camera.
Love,
Mickey and Grace
